Yes, I agree totally. Our program is based on nutritional fundamentals but we help and support people to lose weight at their own pace and to do what works for them. In the past, for myself, I had the all or nothing thinking and felt that I was either on or off a diet. When I learned more about intuitive eating I realized that it isn’t about all or nothing and that was part of the problem. Once I realized this I was finally able to keep my weight off. I incorporate these principles into the program and my clients know that once the weight is lost they need to be able to continue eating close to the same way to keep the weight off so don’t do things to lose weight that you can’t continue doing forever!
